AKVION was founded in 1991 by Mikhail I. Lazarev.
Today AKVION is a dynamically expanding company with a large experience in the field.

Spheres of our activities:
We develop, produce and promote vitamin and vitamin-mineral complexes, cardiological agents, medications for vision correction, energotropic preparations. During years of our work we developed a score of original preparations that gained wide recognition among the public and specialists.
- Manufacturing of substances for food industry.
AKVION produces vitiminizing food supplements. More than 400 Russian manufacturers use them to enrich their production – paste goods, pastry, dairy products, beverages, baby food, bakery products, preserves and mayonnaise - with vitamins and microelements. Leading Russian medical centers use the production of AKVION for vitaminization of food for diet patients.
- Manufacturing of substances for cosmetics industry.
More than 50 of Russian cosmetics manufacturers produce cosmetics with addition of substances manufactured by the company AKVION: coenzyme Q10, chitozan, vitamins E and F. These substances are used in production of creams, emulsions, water solutions and gel forms.

- In 2008 the vitamin complex series ALFAVIT for children, had been recognized by the international program “Superbrands” as a brand leader (superbrand) in the Russian market of goods and services for children.
- In 2009 ALFAVIT and Qudesan become the Brand of the Year Award winners.
- Veteron is produced since 1991 and is continually one of the sale leaders among beta-carotene supplementations.
- Qudesan – is a leader among preparations containing coenzyme Q10.

Production
AKVION possesses own full-scale manufacturing complex – Vneshtorg Pharma, which is located in the Vladimir Region. The factory is designed and constructed according to the European GMP standard and is licensed for manufacturing of medical agents. This guarantees the high quality of our production. The end product is strictly controlled at the site of manufacture and in our test laboratories that are certified by the Ministry of Health.

Approval of production.
Our preparations are validated in the leading Russian research and medical centers. Among them is the Institute of Nutrition RAMS, Research institute of pediatrics and child surgery MHSD, Cardiological research center RAMS, faculty of fundamental medicine MSU named after M. V. Lomonosov.
Foreign markets.
Production of AKVION is sold in all countries of Commonwealth of Independent Countries. Official representation offices are opened in Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
Promotion
We employ different kinds of advertisement – federal TV stations, popular radio stations, national and local press and Internet. We also conduct BTL advertising.
Our company constantly participates in the largest specialized exhibitions and conferences, such as “Chelovek I Lekarstvo” (Man and drug), “Apteka” (Pharmacy), “Sovremennie technologie v pediatrii I detskoy hirurgii” (Current technologies for pediatrics and child surgery) and also Russian national congress of cardiologists and Therapist Congress.

By dialing 8-800-200-86-86 any person in Russia could obtain exhaustive information about any our product or express his wishes about our preparations. To form strategies of product promotion AKVION conducts self-directed research (focus groups, polling, questionings, interviews) and also utilizes data from such marketing companies as DSM Group, Gallup, Pharmexpert.
