Water solution Ubiquinone (3% water solution coenzyme Q10)
Ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10), an essential life component produced by the body, participates in the oxidizing-restoring reactions of tissue respiration. After the age of 30 the generation of ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10) in the body is greatly reduced which results in decrease of cells respiratory activity; thus the aging process, along with intensification of oxidization processes begins. By the age of 50 the amount of coenzyme Q10 is two times less than at the age of 20. Restoring the amount of ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10) guarantees the normalization of tissue respiration and the maintenance of the body’s energy.
Coenzyme Q10 is a natural substance with no side effects. In the body, Q10 participates in the formation of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), an important cellular energy supplier. In addition, coenzyme Q10 disarms aggressive substances and protects the vitally important cellular proteins from damage.
Today, ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10) is the most promising ingredient in cosmetic products, being able to noticeably postpone skin aging. Its effect is based on antioxidant properties of ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10) and its ability to renew skin cell energy.
Research has shown that creams with ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10) increase skin’s moisture and elasticity, and decrease appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
The use of ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10 in cosmetics is only limited by technical difficulties. This substance cannot be heated above 50°Ñ and cannot be exposed to direct sunlight, its effectiveness completely lost when oxidized.
In proposed medication, molecules of Q10 are stabilized and protected from air oxygen effects when used in cosmetic compositions. Consequently, ubiquinone’s ability to postpone age skin changes, often resulting from air contacts, is completely preserved.
The recommended percent of substance in cosmetic compositions is 0.1 - 2 %.
