Water solution of vitamin F
A 2 % water-soluble vitamin F solution, which initially was only soluble in fats.
Vitamin F is a mixture of unsaturated fatty acids: linoleic and linolenic acids, and their ethers. These fatty acids are in the ingredients of many vegetable oils (sunflower, corn, soy), and are contained in nuts.
A deficiency of vitamin F results in the thinning and breaking of the hair, the appearance of dandruff, and the dryness and peeling of the skin; for these reasons, medications with vitamin F are used to treat a variety of skin ailments.
Vitamin F helps the assimilation of fats, participates in the lipid (fat) exchange of the skin, and helps thin the amount of fat beneath the skin.
Vitamin F softens skin, and strengthens hair and nails. As it protects cell membranes, vitamin F makes skin appear more youthful and shiny.
This wide array of functions allows the substance to be included in cosmetic creams, and products for the maintenance of hair and nails.
Water-soluble vitamin F retains all of the valuable properties of the initial substance and is easily mixed with water compositions.
Recommended percent of the substance: from 0.5-2 %.
